His hands are chilling cold,
Unlike the warmth found within mine;
Such a sensation when he grasps hold,
Fire and ice intertwine.
His face displays a sinister grin,
My eyes shine rays of halos;
His actions often filled with sin,
While my soul gleams innocent day glows.
Poison is his words,
As deathly as a viper’s bite;
My sweet notes sung could heal the world,
Like a blanket on a bleak December night.
His days start when the sun sleeps,
Awaken by the moonlight;
When he’s arisen, I’m counting sheep,
I’m awoken by the sunshine.
They doubted our love could last,
Because of differences and such;
But then again, opposites attract,
They’ve just never experienced such love.
My heart’s a candle, his a fiery flame;
Our love burns together, we’re one and the same.
In No Specific Order;

Okay, so it’s my birthday today.
And on Facebook, I have all these people telling me Happy Birthday.
I know it sounds silly, but I’m not satisfied by it. Only from a few people.
I guess to me, it’s like they’re just thinking, “Oh hey, it’s their birthday.”
Nothing special. I’d rather get 5 sincere, long wall posts instead of 700+ plain, “Happy Birthdays.”
Just like that question, would you rather have 3-5 close friends, or 10+ friends that aren’t very close. I’d definitely have the fewer, yet closer friends. It’s the same with me and birthday facebook wallposts.
Because lately I haven’t been feeling appreciated, only by like, Kirsten.
And I love her to death because of that.
Just seeing people write Happy Birthday and nothing else makes me feel like, well…I’m just here because I’m here. I’m just another person on their friends list who just happened to have a birthday and they need to say happy birthday to me because Facebook told them too.
but yeah.
xoxo.
